A sense of scale

The variety of scale in the known universe is amazing. Think how big we feel when we look at an ant. Next, think of how tiny we are in relation to our planet, how tiny earth is in relation to our sun. Then there is VV Cephei, an eclipsing binary star system that makes our average sun look miniscule in comparison. If it were placed at the center of our Solar System, it would extend to the orbit of Saturn
