TECH - backup your brain (defrag first)

  • Dead? No, just downloaded

  • Futurist predicts that you will be able to digitally preserve your experiences.
""Realistically by 2050 we would expect to be able to download your mind into a machine, so when you die it's not a major career problem"
What would the rules be? Would you have to be declared dead first or would you just, willy-nilly, replicate your consciousness at will. Would certainly help out when cramming for that test. Your digital consciousness might run exponentially faster than it's biological counterpart, experiencing far more than you could in the same amount of time. Great for doing research. From it's perspective, you would appear to be standing still.
